Small changes for a big difference
At Bull Bite Grips, we’ve reimagined the typical wire grip design to make the lineman’s job easier and safer. With a second rigging eye and a longer handle, our grips are easier to manipulate, more comfortable to use, and more reliable overall.
Not your grandpa’s grip
Traditional wire grips have been long overdue for an overhaul.
By making grips more ergonomic and easier to use, we can make your life a whole lot easier. The job can be tough enough on its own—you don’t want to have to fight your tools, too.
The elongated bottom handle makes it easier to maintain a firm grasp while opening the grip, applying it to the wire, pulling down guys, etc. And the added rigging eye means you can hold the grip easily, without trying to cram your thumb and the hoist hook into the same space.
When you don’t have to fight with your tools or worry about slippage, you can completely focus on getting the job done.
Bull Bite Grips
We’ve designed specialized grips for several different wire types: steel, aluminum, copper, and tree wire grips to come in the future.
These grips come in three different sizes. For larger cable diameters, you’re going to want the Big Boy. For those midsize diameter wires, the Boomer is what you’ll need. And for the small wire sizes, you’re going to want to ask your buddy to hand you the Pup. These three sizes are all that you’ll need to get the job done.
All of our grips are tough and durable and will stand up to the everyday abuse that we as line hands put on our tools. The non-corrosive finish on the grips protects them from the elements, so you know these grips are as tough as you are—and they’ll always be ready to answer the call in any situation.
The specs will be coming shortly for the wire diameter sizes, as well as the working load limit for each grip.
These revolutionary grips are coming at you soon!
We are currently in the production phase, getting our grips safety-tested before sending them to the manufacturer. We expect our grips to be ready in the spring of 2021.
